American Song Contest 2022: The 2nd Semi-Final results; Tyler Braden jury's second finalist

  • The American Song Contest progressed to the 2nd Semi-final show during which 11 acts took the stage with Tyler Braden securing his place in the Grand final due to the jury's vote. 

    Following the five qualifying rounds of  the inaugural edition of the American Song Contest the competition has progressed to the semifinals stage.  

    The American Song Contest which is brought to the audience by Propagate in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group , continued last evening with the second semi final round. 

    The show is hosted by two of the biggest internationally names in the music industry, with Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg responsible to guide the audience through the live shows. 

     

    First Semi-Final public voting qualifiers announcement

    Ahead of the 2nd semi-final night's performances and results, the rest three qualifiers of the 1st Semi-final round round , which were decided via an online voting last week, were announced. We remind you that the act that qualified according to the jury's verdict was Allen Stone representing Michigan.

    According to the public online voting for the 1st semi-final round AleXa from Oklahoma, Riker Lynch representing Colorado, Jordan Smith Kentucky and Ni/Co from Alabama are the qualifiers from the 1st semi-final round to join Allen Stone  in the semifinals.

    Following are the 11 acts that took the stage in the second semi-final and the repsective jury vote ranking :  

    1. Tennessee: Tyler Braden – Seventeen
    2. Kansas: Broderick Jones – Tell Me
    3. California: Sweet Taboo – Keys to the Kingdom
    4. North Carolina: John Morgan – Right in the Middle
    5. Connecticut: Michael Bolton – Beautiful World
    6. North Dakota: Chloe Fredericks – Can’t Make You Love Me
    7. Puerto Rico: Christian Pagán – Loko
    8. Texas: Grant Knoche – Mr. Independent
    9. Georgia: Stela Cole – DIY
    10. American Samoa: Tenelle – Full Circle
    11. New York: Enisa – Green Light

    Therefore Tyler Braden was the jury's choice to progress to the Grand final show while the rest qualifiers determined by the onlibe public voting which is open for one day will be announced during the week.

    The American song contest is less than a week away from its Grand final show which is set for Monday, May 9, 2022.
