Kazakhstan: Alinur & Beknur's revamped version of their JESC entry  “Fairy World” released

  • Alinur & Beknur, Kazakhstan's Junior Eurovision 2021 hopefuls, have released the revamped version of their entry for Paris titled 'Fairy World'

    The revamped version of “Ertegı älemı (Fairy World), Kazakhstan's entry for Junior Eurovision 2021 has been released along with its offcial music video. The revamped version will be song that we will see on the stage of La Seine Musicale's performed by Alinur Khamzin and Beknur Zhanibekuly.

    In the song the verses and chorus in Kazakh are sung by Alinur and a rap bridge in French is performed by Beknur. The music and the Kazakh lyrics were written by Nurbolat Qanay, and the French lyrics were written by Gabriel Boileau Cloutier

    The two of them topped the national final's voting in a tie (30,5% each), that led the jury and the songwriters to decide that both of them should represent the country at its 4th participation in the competition. 

     

    Kazakhstan in Junior Eurovision 

    Kazakhstan debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2018 after EBU’s invitation to broadcaster, Khabar Agency, to join the contest. The country was represented by the national final winner,  Daneliya Tuleshova and her entry “Ózińe sen” which finished in 5th place at the competition held in Minsk, Belarus. 

    In 2019 12-year-old Yerzhan Maksim defended the Kazakh colors in Gliwice- Silesia in Poland and after delivering a stunning vocally performance of his entry, Armanyńnan Qalma achieved to top the jury voting and finish 2nd ion the overall scoreboard.

    Last year Karakat Bashanova won the national final and represented the country with her song 'Forever' in Warsaw, Poland  achieving to finish 2nd with 152 points in the overall score.
