Eurovision 2024: Second Semi-Final Results ; Grand final line-up completed

The Eurovision 2024 Grand final line-up has been completed with the 10 qualifiers of the Second Semi-final show.
Following last evening's Jury rehearsal show for the Semi Final 2 competing acts, tonight the Semi-final 2 Live show took place in Malmo Arena in Malmo, Sweden determining the second set of 10 acts qualifying entries to Saturday's Grand final show.
From the 37 participating coutries the rest 16 countries competed in this evening's second semi-final live show. While the first ten qualifiers were determined during Tuesday's Semi-final 1 show, the Big-5 countries ( Germany, Italy, Spain, France and the United Kingdom) along with the hosting nation Sweden have pre-qualified for the Grand final.
The Live Semi-Final Two Show was hosted by Pedra Mede and Malin Åkerman. The show opened with Pedra and Malin making the two of them a humorous act.
The 16 competing acts appeared on stage in the following running order:

4. Switzerland – Nemo – “The Code”
5. Czechia – Aiko – “Pedestal”
6. Armenia – Ladaniva – “Jako”

8.Denmark – Saba – “Sand”
9. Latvia – Dons – “Hollow”
10. San Marino – Megara – “11:11”
11. Georgia – Natia Busalazdze – “Firefighter”
12. Belgium – Mustii – “Before the Party is Over”
13. Estonia – 5miinust and Puuluup – “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”
14.Israel – Eden Golan – “Hurricane”
15.Norway – Gåte – “Ulveham”
16. Netherlands – Joost Klein – “Europapa”
The Big-5 performances
Notably the two of the Big-5 countries France, Spain and Italy performed live on stage tonight their performances a change that has been introduced in this year's edition. Specifically, France performed between the acts 5 and 6, Spain delivered between the acts 9 and 10, while Italy appeared on stage between the acts 13 and 14.

Interval Acts
Once all performances were completed two interval acts took place on stage before the results. The viewers watched a spectacular interval act show! The Eurovisions fans across the world and the audience had the chance this year to enjoy three past winners taking part in the interval acts of the semi-final shows of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden.
Namely Swedish winner of ESC 1999, Charlotte Perelli with 'Take me to your heaven', Turkey's 2003 winning act Sertab Erener with 'Everyway that i can' and Greece's victorious 2005 entrant Helena Paparizou with 'My Number One' will be taking part in the second semifinal's interval act.
The organisers of the 68th Eurovision invited the audience across the globe to the biggest sing along attempt remotely, via an interactive TV wall. The fans across the world were invited to sing along with the three Charlotte, Sertab and Helena taking part themselves in the semi-final 2 interval act.
In addition last year's runner up Kaarija returned on back on the Eurovision stage to bring the party in the arena with his iconic 'Cha Cha Cha'.
Also Petra Mede along with Charlotte Perelli presented on stage a special interval act named 'We just love Eurovision too much' just before the results were unveiled.
Voting process
The outcome of the semi-final one was be determined exclusively by public voting. Viewers from tonight’s participating countries were eligible to cast their votes. In addition, viewers from the France, Spain and Italy and the Rest of the World were also be able to vote in this first semi-final.
In this year's edition the EBU is implementing a different voting process. The viewers are able to vote not after the end of the last performance, but are able to cast their votes from the beginning of the show.
Rest of the World Voting
Int this year's edition the Rest of the World fans have a say in the outcome of the show. In order to sychronize the different time zones, the Rest of the World online vote opened from the end of the Jury Show the previous evening from the live show. The vote wias open until the end of the voting window during the live broadcast of Semi-Final Two.
Fans from non participating countries had the chance to cast their votes once they prewatched a clip of all of the cometing entries. Voting costs 0.99 Euro per vote and is carried out at www.esc.vote.
