Tonight: Super Saturday with seven Grand Final and two semi-final national selection shows for Eurovision 2023

Eurovision season is progressing to the core of the national selection period with a total of nine shows taking place today across Europe.
Not one not two but seven countries will be selecting today their Eurovision 2023 hopefuls by holding the final show of their national selection while in two other countries semi-final shows are taking place.
Namely the selection is concluding today in Estonia with the final of Eesti Laul 2023, in Romania with the final of Selectia Nationala, in Denmark with the national final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023, in Latvia with the Supernova 2023 final show. Also in Croatia the Dora 2023 final is taking place, in Italy Sanremo after four nights is closing with the grand final show while Malta is about to select their representative with the final of MESC 2023.
In addition, in Sweden Melodifestivalen carries on with 2nd semi-final while in Lithuania the second semi-final of Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 will determine the final line-up.
Let's go and see one by one the shows set to hit the screen this evening:
Estonia – Eesti Laul 2023 Final (18:30 CET)
The Estonian national selection for Eurovision is concluding this evening with the Grand final of Eesti Laul 2023.
The final will be taking place at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in the capital Tallinn with the Tõnis Niinemets and Grete Kuld guiding the audience as presenters of the show.
A total of 12 finalist will be taking part in the final with the ambition to win that one ticket to Liverpool this May. Namely the acts competing tonight are:

- Inger – “Awaiting You”
- Janek – “House of Glass”
- Elysa – “Bad Philosophy”
- M Els – “So Good (At What You Do)”
- Bedwetters – “Monsters”
- Andreas – “Why Do You Love Me”

- Anett and Fredi – “You Need to Move On”
- Ollie – “Venom”
- Mia – “Üks samm korraga” (One step at a time)
- Sissi – “Lighthouse”
The result will be determined in two rounds of voting. In the first round of voting, a jury and public voting will select the top three songs while in the second round to follow the public's verdict will exclusive select which one of the top 3 will fly the flag in Liverpool.
In addition last year’s Eurovision entry “Hope” will be delivered by the group Zetod, while the original singer and ESC 2022 hopeful, Stefan, will perform songs from his latest release. Also Karl-Erik Taukar and his band will feature the show playing his new single, while former Eurovision act Ines along with Púr Múdd will appear on the show.

Romania – Selecţia Naţională 2023 Final (19:30 CET)
Romania is holding this eveningh in Bucharest their national final of 'Selectia Nationala 2023' in order to determine the act and entry that will be representing the nation at Eurovision 2023.
The show that will be hosted by Laurențiu Niculescu, lead singer of the band The Colours and Ilinca, who represented Romania at Eurovision 2017 and will be hosting from the Green Room will see a total of 12 contestants taking the stage chasing their dream to represent Romania in Liverpool.
Namely the 12 competing acts of the night will deliver theirs song during the show in the following running order:

The ourcome of the final will be determined entrirely by public voting with the audience given the chance to cast their song for one song via the phone or online via Eurovision.tvr.ro.

Denmark – Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023 Final (20:00 CET)Denmark will be deciding this evening their Eurovision 2023 hopeful by holding the national final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023.
Tina Müller and Heino Hansen will have the honour to host the national final live from Næstved. Tina is no stranger to the audience as she has hosted the past two editions of the contest while Heino's is first time to serve as the show's presenter.
A total of 8 competing acts are in the running for representing Denmark at Eurovision 2023 who will appear on stage this evening in the following running order:

The result of the final will be determined through two rounds of voting.In the first round, the top 3 entries based on the televoting verdict will advance to a superfinal round. In the superfinal, the three Superfinalists will deliver once again their songs and the winner will be determined by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting.
In addition the show will feature last year's winners Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra.

Lithuania – Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 Semi-Final Two (20:00 CET)The Lithuanian national selection for Eurovision 2023 is progessing this evening to the second Semi-Final of Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 in order to determine the last spots in the Grand final.
Following last week's first semi-final round, Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 moves on to the second semi-final that will determine the last set of five finalists.
Ten acts will take the stage tonight and will perform their songs in the following order:

- Agnė – “New Start”
- Matt Len –“Midnight Train”
- Luknė – “Paradise”
- Monika Linkytė – “Stay”
- Gebrasy – “Saw Your Ghost”

The last five finalists, like in the first semi-final, will be determined by public and jury voting. In this semi-final heat Duncan Laurence, the ESC 2019 winner, will be joining the jury along with Vaidotas Valiukevičius (lead singer of The Roop), Monika Liu, Ieva Narkutė, and Ramūnas Zilnys.

Sweden – Melodifestivalen 2023 Heat Two (20:00 CET)Sweden’s quest for its Eurovision 2023 representative continues tonight with the second semi-final of “Melodifestivalen 2023”.
“Melodifestivalen 2023” consists of 5 semi-final rounds and the grand final to be held on March 11. A total of 28 acts are taking part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts to compete in each of the first four semi-final rounds. Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl are hosting this evening's show live from Linköping.
In tonight's second heat which will take place in Linköping we will see competing the following 7 acts:

- Eden – “Comfortable”
- Uje Brandelius – “Grytan” (Stew)
- Panetoz – “On my way”
- Tennessee Tears – “Now I know”

As in the first heat the result is determined through two rounds of votings. In the first round all competing acts are voted with the one topping the scoreboard securing a spot directly in the Grand final on March 11. In the second round of voting the remaining six acts go into one more public voting, the votes of which are presented in ages groups. The act topping this voting goes straight to the final while the second and third advance to the 5th semi-final heat ( former second chance round) on March 4.

Latvia – Supernova 2023 Final (20:10 CET)It's time for Latvia to decide their own Eurovision 2023 hopeful through the final of Supernova taking place this evening live in Riga.
Following last week semi-final show which determined the 10 finalists, today the final show of Supernova, is set to take place in order to determine Citti Zeni's successors. The show will be presented to us by Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks.

Croatia – Dora 2023 Final (20:15 CET)Croatia is selecting once again their Eurovision hopeful through the traditional show 'Dora' the final of which is taking place this evening in Opatija.
Mirko Fodor, Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca and Marko Tolja will be guiding the audience as hosts of the show which will see 18 competing acts in the run for representing Croatia at Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool.

The winner will be determined by a combination of public and jury voting. The jury is made up by ten regional juries which are formed by three members who can be be: one music editor of HRT or a music journalist, one member of Hrvatskog društva skladatelja and one member of Hrvatske glazbene unije.
In addition Tony Cetinski the Croatian ESC 1994 representative and Dora 2021 participant will grace the stage this evening in Opatija.

Italy – Festival di Sanremo 2023 Final (20:40 CET)Italy's iconic music festival of Sanremo is concluding this evening after four night of shows and rankings. The Grand final of Sanremo Festival will be determining Italy's choice for Eurovision 2023 tonight.
Following the first , second , third and fourth night's show, tonight Sanremo festival 2023 concludes with its fifth night during which the 28 competing acts will take the stage for a last time to perform their songs.
Amadeus will be presenting the show this evening accompanied by Gianni Morandi, along with tonight's guest host Chiara Ferragni. In addition several stars and personalities will feature the Grand final show among which, Salmo, Volodymyr Zelenskyy (President of Ukraine), Gino Paoli, Ornella Vanoni, Achille Lauro ( San Marino Eurovision 2022), Depeche Mode and Luisa Ranieri.

The closing show of Sanremo 2023 will consist of two parts. The 28 acts will take the stage and perform their entries with the ranking been determined 33% by the demoscopic jury, 33% by press room jury and 34% by televoting . The results than will be added to the ranking results from the previous evenings. All places up to 5th place will be revealed while the top 5 acts will advance to the second part of the show.
During the second part the top 3 acts will perform once again their songs with the demoscopic voting (33%), the press jury (33%) and public televote (34%) determining the last set of results that will declare the final winner and next Italian Eurovision representative.

Malta – Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2023 Final (21:00 CET)Malta will be selecting their Eurovision 2023 representative with this evening's Grand final of Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2023 (MESC 2023).
After four qualifying rounds and a semi-final show that determined out of 40 competing entries this evening's 16 finalist Malta is ready to decide for Liverpool.
The final of MESC 2023 will be hosted by Glen Vella and Amber, both former Eurovision representative back in 2011 and 2015 respectively.
The 16 competing acts of the night are:
