Lithuania: The Roop won the national final and are off to Rotterdam with "Discoteque"

• The Roop won this evening's national final of Pabandom iš naujo 2021 and will be heading to Rotterdam next May with their song "Discoteque". 

  After two qualifying rounds and one semi final show a total of six acts  battled tonigt for the ticket to Rotterdam next May. Five acts came from the previous rounds while last year's Eurovision act The Roop had pre-qualified directly to the final show. The show will be presented to us by Vytautas Rumšas, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Vaidotas Baumila (ESC 2015). 

  The six acts who took to the stage are: 

   

  • Titas & Benas – “No”
  • Martyna Jezepčikaitė – “Thank You Very Much”
  • Gebrasy – “Where’d You Wanna Go?”
  • Voldemars Petersons – “Never Fall For You Again”
  • Evita Cololo – “Be paslapčių”
  • The Roop –  “Discoteque”

  The winner and next Lithuanian ESC representative was determined by jury (50%) and public (50%) voting. The jury consisted od the following members: 

  • Ramūnas Zilnys
  • Gerūta Griniūtė
  • Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano
  • Aistė Smilgevičiūtė
  • Jievaras Jasinskis
  • Ieva Narkutė
  • Vytautas Bikus

   

  "Discoteque" performed by The Roop was selected as the winner after gaining the most points from both the jury vote and the public vote. The jury results came out as following:
