Ukraine: Kalush Orchestra release the official music video of 'Stefania'

The Eurovision 2022 winners, Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra, have released the official music video of their entry 'Stefania'.
Kalush Orchestra one day after their victorious performance in the Eurovision 2022 Grand final released the official music video of their winning song 'Stefania'.
While the vocalist of the band Oleh Psyuk previously admitted that he wrote the song about his mother, the song after the Russian invasion in Ukraine has become an anthem for the notion 'mother' and has been associated with the situation in the country.
The music video showcases the multidimensional message around the notion 'Mother' and the impact the war has had on the relationship between thousands of children and their mothers.
The music video has been directed in the ruins of Bucha, Irpin, Borodyanka, Hostomel all cities near Kiev that suffered from the brutalities of the Russian occupation. The video is dedicated to the people fighting for their freedom and all mothers protecting their children. While the war has many faces and lot of parameters, above all mother's face is the one that keeps people going on and fighting through dark times.
The director of the video is Director Max Ksjonda while behind the production is Stanislav Smyrnov.
A few words for Kalush Orchestra
Kalush is a Ukrainian rap group formed in 2019. The group consists of founder and rapper Oleh Psiuk, multi-instrumentalist Ihor Didenchuk, and DJ MC Kilimmen. Didenchuk is also a member of electro-folk band Go_A. In 2021, Kalush announced the launch of a parallel project, Kalush Orchestra. Unlike the main band, Kalush Orchestra focuses on rap with folk motifs and Ukrainian traditional music. The core members of Kalush were joined by multi-instrumentalists Tymofii Muzychuk and Vitalii Duzhyk.
Kalush was formed in 2019 and named after Psiuk's hometown of Kalush, Ukraine.The band's first music video for the song "Не маринуй" was released on their official YouTube channel on October 17, 2019.After the release of their second music video "Ти гониш" in November 2019, Kalush signed an agreement with the American hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings. On February 19, 2021, the band's debut album HOTIN was released. On July 23, 2021, Kalush together with rapper Skofka released their second album entitled ЙО-ЙО.
Following Alina Pash's withdrawal from the competition after allegations about falsifying travel documents regarding her entry in the region of Crimea back in August 2015, the Organising Committee decided to offer the Eurivision 2022 spot to Kalush Orchestra who came second in the national final with the song ' Stefania', which however topped the public voting scoreboard.
Kalush Orchestra took part on May 12 in the 1st semi final achieving to qualify by winning the semifinal. The Ukrainian representatives brought the third trophy to Ukraine after winning the Grand final. The band accomplished to came 4th in the jury voting and by topping the televoting with the record breaking amount of 439 points won the competition with the overall score of 631 points.
