The Netherlands: More Eurovision stars join the “Het Grote Songfestivalfeest 2021” line up

  • The 'Het Grote Songfestivalfeest' party is returning after its sucessful first edition in 2019 with more Eurovision stars joining the line up of the show set to take place on December 9,2021. 

    With the covid-19 restrictions progressively lifted across the continent, the countries are trying to bring normality back in their daily life and mass music events and concerts is one of the activities people have missed over these months during the lockdowns implemented due to the pandemic. 

    'Het Grote Songfestivalfeest' this mass party of music in Amsterdam was launched in 2019 with big name of the Eurovision scene featuring the show among which Sergey Lazarev, Loreen, and Johnny Logan. After a one year break due to the covid-19 pandemic the event is returning with more Eurovision stars ready to shine on the stage for the 2nd edition of the concert. 

    Namely the acts announced to be part of the event are: 

    • Sertab Erener from Turkey, ESC 2003 winne with “Every Way That I Can”
    • The Waterloo Band, an ABBA cover band
    • Imaani, UK's ESC 1998 representative with “Where Are You”
    • Michael Schulte, Germany's ESC 2018 act with “You Let Me Walk Alone”
    • OG3NE, the Dutch ESC 2017 hopefuls with “Lights and Shadows”
    • Stefania, the Greek ESC 2021 act with the song 'Last Dance'

     The newly confirmed acts will be joining an impressive line up which includes the following ESC stars: 

    • Brotherhood of Man
    • Sandra Kim
    • Verka Serduchka
    • Netta
    • Lenny Kuhr
    • Bobbysocks
    • Kristian Kostov
    • Johnny Logan
    • Loreen
    • Marija Serifovic
    • Eleni Foureira
    • Carola
    • Keiino
    • Go_A

    The show that will take place in Amsterdam's ZiggoDome will be hosted once again by  Cornald Maas en Edsilia Rombley. Edsilia is a important Eurovision figure for the Netherlands, as she has represented the country twice back in 1998 and 2007 editions , co-hosted the show this year on home soil and has been commentatitng the show for many years.
