  • The Swedish Eurovision 2012 winner, Loreen, treats the audience with new work, releasing her new single "Sötvattentårar"

    Loreen returns with a brand new track titled  "Sötvattentårar" which in English translates  ‘Freshwater Tears’. This marks her first ever orginal single in Swedish, making it more easier to reach out to the audience on home soil. The new single is part of an upcoming album or EP that is expected to be released later this year.

    The song speak right to the soul of people describing a situtation that most of people have experienced in life: The moments when you feel that you don't live up to your own expectations, when you feel that you're not good enough. In these times it's ok to cry to feel this way. Loreen passes the message that after the tears better days are to come always. As if the tears were the rain , after each rainy and stromy day comes the sunlight!

    A few words about Loreen

    Loreens won the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, with her entry "Euphoria". The song reached number one in several countries, including Germany and Sweden. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö, she sang as the opening act in the first semi-final and as the interval act in the grand final.

    Interested in becoming a musician, Loreen took part in the Idol 2004 television competition, finishing fourth. The following year she released her first single, "The Snake", with the band Rob'n'Raz and became a television presenter on TV400. While working as a segment producer and director for several Swedish reality TV shows, she entered Melodifestivalen 2011 with the song "My Heart Is Refusing Me", which became a Top 10 hit in Sweden. She also had Top 20 hits in Sweden with the singles "Crying Out Your Name" (2012) and "Statements" (2017) which competed in Melodifestivalen 2017, reached the Second Chance but lost the Duel with Anton Hagman. 

    Over the years Lorren has released several albums and singles establishing her as the most successful Swedish singers on home soil and internationally.
