Spain: Chanel's 'SloMo' reaches No1 on the 'Los 40' chart

Spain's Chanel has hit a No1 placing on the Spanish charts following the honorable 3rd place she achieved at Eurovision 2022 with her explosive performance of 'SloMo'.
Chanel is going down her own path of success after delivering for Spain their best results in the last 27 years , which has brought waves of enthusiasm among the fans and people within the country.
Following the impressive welcome back event at Madrid’s Plaza Mayor and the congratulations message by the Spanish Royal family Chanel writes down another accomplishment on her book of success as she has topped the 'Los 40' chart.
In addition the national broadcaster, RTVE, in the presence of its Head José Manuel Pérez Tornero, held a special press conference during which they expressed their gratitude and the great result she brought for Spain in the 66th Eurovision Song Contest with her 3rd placing.
With the numbers always reflecting such successs it will be an ommision not to outloine that her grand final performance has already reached over 13.6 million viewers on the official Eurovision Youtube Channel whilst her participation caused a big rise of interest in the national media breaking along records of the tv viewing figures.
A few words for Chanel
Chanel Terrero Martínez (born 28 July 1991), known as Chanel Terrero or simply Chanel, is a Cuban-Spanish singer, dancer and actress.
Chanel was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to Olesa de Montserrat in Catalonia, Spain, at the age of three. Part of her family was already of Spanish origin from Catalonia.She has taken singing, acting and ballet classes from a young age. She has studied with important artists such as Víctor Ullate, Coco Comín and Glòria Gella. At the age of sixteen she started her career in musical theatre.
Chanel moved to Madrid to start her acting career. During the 2010s she participated in stage musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Flashdance, El guardaespaldas and El rey león. As a dancer, she has worked with different artists. In 2010, she was part of danced Shakira's performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards
Chanel took part in the castings for the Spanish stage production of West Side Story. She was one of the three finalists for the role of Anita. She also was between the five finalists worldwide for the same role in Steven Spielberg's film version of the musical, West Side Story.
