OGAE: Second Chance Contest 2022 songs unveiled

  • OGAE has released the competing entries of the 2022 Second Chance Contest, which this year is held by Norway following last year's victory of KEiiNo. 

    The OGAE Second Chance contest has been taking place since 1987 among the national member clubs. Songs that did not make it through to the Eurovision stage in their country’s national selection have the right  to take part in the contest. Members of the fan clubs then vote for their favourite songs. In addition for those countries that didn't hold a national selection or didn't participate in the contest guest juries cast their votes contributing to the final outcome. 

    This year a total of 27 entries will take part in 36th edition of the second chance contest. Namely the countries and their repsective acts are to compete are: 

    Ukraine: Roxolana – “Girlzzzz”
    Croatia: Marko Bošnjak – “Moli za nas”
    Sweden: Medina – “In i dimman”
    Poland: Kuba Szmajkowski – “Lovesick”
    Spain: Rigoberta Bandini – “Ay mamá”
    Israel: Eli Huli – “Blinded Dreamers”
    Ireland: Rachel Goode – “I’m Loving Me”
    Italy: La Rappresentante di Lista – “Ciao Ciao”
    Serbia: Sara Jo – “Muškarčina”
    Finland: Bess – “Ram Pam Pam”
    Romania: Gabriel Basco – “One Night”
    Czech Republic: Giudi – “Jezinky”
    Portugal: Syro – “Ainda nos temos”
    Rest of the World (San Marino): Cristina Ramos – “Heartless Game”
    Latvia: Bermudu Divsturis – “Bad”
    Germany: Felicia Lu – “Anxiety”
    Iceland: Reykjavíkurdætur – “Turn This Around”
    Albania: Alban Ramosaj – “Theje”
    Norway: NorthKid – “Someone”
    Australia: Voyager – “Dreamer”
    Estonia: Anna Sahlene – “Champion”
    Malta: Denise – “Boy”
    Slovenia: Batista Cadillac – “Mim pravil”
    North Macedonia: Viktor Apostolovski – “Superman”
    Lithuania: Lolita Zero – “Not Your Mother”
    Denmark: Fuld Effekt – “Rave med de hårde drenge”
    France: Pauline Chagne – “La nuit Pauline”

    The lines for voting are open for the club members and the guest juries with the results to be revealed in a future point.
