  • Fabrizio Faniello the Maltese Eurovision 2001 & 2006 representative has released a revamp of his ESC 2001 entry "Another Summer Night".

The current summer mood fits the occasion but Fabrizio Faniello from Malta has one more reason to treat the audience with a new version of his Eurovision 2001 entry "Another Summer Night" , celebratring the 20th anniversary since he performed the song on Parken Stadium's Eurovision stage in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hie performance gave Malta a top 10 result as it finished 9th with 48 points.

20 years later Fabrizio presents the new version of his track, joining forces with his sister Claudia, who has also participated in Eurovision back in  2017 performing the ballad song ‘Breathlessly’. Fabrizio stated on the release of the new version:

"OMG, where has the time gone ?! It has already been 20 years since we hit the Eurovision Song Contest stage at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark to represent Malta in front of 38,000 people in the audience, and more than 100 million television viewers across the world. We made the Top 10, by finishing in 9th place and taking the maximum points from host country Denmark in 2001. Since then my song was and still is played in Europe, Asia and even America. Enjoy here a new 2K21 version including my beloved sis Claudia"

The new version of "Another Summer Night" sees the introduction of a more contemporary sound comparing to the 2000's production. The Spanish guitar sound has been removed and replaced by a summer electric tempo. However the song maitains its old character allowing the fans to travel back in Eurovision time and relate to the past interpretation of the song back in the 00's.

The music video features the two acts as comic figures who go through ongoing summer activities around the day, putting the best summer ideas on the table: sail on the ocean, dinner under the moonlight or sing on the beach.

In addition to duet with Claudia, there’s also a solo version from Fabrizio as well as some remixes for the dance stages during the summer and beyond.
