Greece: Stefania releases her new single 'Mucho Calor'

-
Stefania, the Greek Eurovision 2021 representative, has dropped her new summer mood single titled 'Mucho Calor'.
Stefania returns after her recent successful Eurovision 2021 participation in Rotterdam with her new follow up single 'Mucho Calor' which fits totally the current summer weather in Greece where the temperatures are litterally going red!
Stefania's 'Mucho Calor' is signed by Dimitris Kintopoulos and ARCADE, who were behind her two Eurovision entries also. The song is a rythmic pop track with strong ethnic and spanish elements in its melody and lyrics accordingly.
Accroding to recent statements of Stefania , the song was originally submitted to Greek broadcaster ERT as a potential song for Eurovision 2020, before SUPERG!RL was chosen. Further on it was proposed to the 2020 Cypriot representative Sandro as his potential Eurovision entry, but wasn't chosen by him as he preferred a song close to his personal style. After going through some amendements, among which the title itself, it was once again suggested to ERT, this time for Eurovision 2021, but as the young Greek act has revealed the team opted for 'Last Dance' over 'Mucho Calor' as something different and not another ethnic track.
The song which is availiable on all digital platforms will be presented live on stage during the Mad Video Music Awards (MAD VMA) set to take place this Friday. After that Stefania will be heading to Dubai to perform along with her ESC dancers in a local special event that will be honored with the presence of the country's Sheikh.
Stefania in Eurovision
Stefania Liberakakis was born 17 December 2002 in Utrecht, also known simply as Stefania, is a Greek–Dutch singer, actress, voice actress and YouTuber.
In 2016 as member of the group Kisses she represented The Netherlands in στην Junior Eurovision 2016 performing the song Kisses and Dancin which came 8th.
In 2020 she was internally selected to represent Greece in Eurovision 2020 with her song 'Supergi!rl'. Unfortunately the contest was cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic with Stefania losing the chance to complete her journey to Rotterdam. That happened a year after, as ERT decided to continue with the young talented act in Eurovision 2021 where she represented Greece singing the 80's style song 'Last Dance' which brought the country back in the top-10 finishing 10th with 170 points in the overall score.
