Greece: Kalomira makes a comeback with her new single "Gia Mia Zoi" (For A Lifetime)

It's been two years since her last work but now, Kalomira, the Greek Eurovision 2008 representative, is back with an emotional ballad titled “Gia Mia Zoi” ( For A Lifetime).
Kalomira is far from the young girl will saw on the Eurovision stage back 2008, turning in a gorwn up beautiful woman which has has became a wonderful wife and mother, raising her three beautiful children in the United States. However Kalomira maintaine here artistic connection to the music scene and has something new to show us inspired by her new experiences in life. Her appearances may not be so often but now she’s back with a new single pouring out all the love and emotions she is experiencing within her family life.
Her new track titled “Gia Mia Zoi” (For A Lifetime) is an anthem to unconditional ongoing love inspired by her children, her husband, her family! Kalomira sings about the love coming in dark times as a salvation, the love that heals past wounds , the love that lasts for a lifetime! Kalomira unfolds her sensitivity and emotions through the lyrics and the orchestration of her new song.
The new single is written by Argiris Chatzinakis while Kalomira herself along with Andreas Lambrou are behind the music. The orchestration is a work of Leonidas Tzitzos while the trach has deen released under the label of Heaven Music.

About Kalomira
Kalomira is a Greek-American singer, songwriter, model, and television personality. Born and raised on Long Island in the United States, she first came to prominence in Greece in 2003, after winning the Greek talent show Fame Story. She has subsequently released four studio albums, represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, and hosted various television shows.
Kalomira in Eurovision
At the end of 2007, Heaven Music chose Kalomira to be their contestant in the 2008 National Final to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. Kalomira picked an R&B style upbeat song with a Greek feel composed by Konstantinos Pantzis with lyrics by Poseidonas Giannopoulos titled “Secret Combination”. On February 27, 2008, Kalomira won the National Final with “Secret Combination” and represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.
In the first semifinal, held on May 20, 2008, Kalomira scored well, coming in first place while at the Eurovision final, on May 24, she came in third behind Russia and Ukraine, with 218 points.
