France: Amir drops his new track “La fête"

Amir, the French representative at Eurovision 2016 with the entry “J’ai Cherché” returns with a new single titled “La fête”.
A year after the release of "5 minutes avec toi", and his recent duet with Greek star Nikos Vertis in the song Si on n’aime qu’une fois the French singer and songwriter Laurent Amir Khalifa Khedider Haddad, aka Amir, is back presenting his brand new single, entitled "La fête" ("Celebration")
The introduction of the song features an intense ethnic element, but as the song unwinds the pop colors prevail. Amir tells us about a love story that reminds us of a celebration through his new single, the music and lyrics of which he signs together with Nazim Khaled.
Commenting on his new release on his social media accounts the talented and successful French act stated:
“My break officially ended less than an hour ago. It 's crazy. It took a lot of strength from me to come back and give you my best sound. I hope you like it and enjoy your lives. Thank you for your unwavering support, I love you very much. "

About Amir
Amit Haddad aka Amir, is a French-Israeli singer and songwriter. He took part in 2006 in the Israeli music competition Kokhav Nolad, released his album Vayehi in 2011 and was a finalist in French competition The Voice: la plus belle voix as part of Team Jenifer finishing third in the competition. He represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “J’ai cherché”, which finished in 6th place.
Amir joined Stéphane Bern and Marianne James as a commentator for France 2 at the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev. He served as one of the domestic jury members for the semifinals of Destination Eurovision along with Christophe Willem and Isabelle Boulay to help France choose its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon. Along with 2019 Swedish Eurovision representative John Lundvik and famed Swedish composers Peter Boström and Thomas G:son, Amir helped co-write the song “The Best in Me” for Tom Leeb, the French representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
