  • The French Eurovision 2010 representative, Jessy Matador, is back with his recently released new single “Chronique d’un yakuza”  (“Chronicle of a yakuza”).

Jessy Matador latest single “Chronique d’un yakuza”  (“Chronicle of a yakuza”) features one more time the afrobeat style that the French act has showcased in his past work.

The word 'Yakuza' refers to Japan's mafia scene made up by the activities of organized crime syndicates. And while one will expect the song to be rather dark talking of "Yakuza', it remains close to the style of songs Jessy has gotten us used to, with African influences with urban sounds inspired by his Congolese background  .
