Cyprus: Elenei Foureira releases the music video of her new single 'Aeraki- To Thiliko'

  • The Cypriot Eurovision 2018 runner up, Eleni Foureira, has released the music video of her latest new summer hit entitled 'Aeraki- To thiliko'  ("Breeze -The Female).

    The explosive performer has recently dropped her new summer track, Aeraki- To thiliko'  ("Breeze -The Female), shortly after her collaboration with Mad Clip on the hit "Borei" (Maybe), which continues its great success counting over 3 million streams and more than 15 million YouTube views in almost two months from its release.

    "Aeraki - To thiliko" is an up-tempo song with latin rhythm and Greek lyrics, for all the loves that give color to our summer. The music of the song is signed by George Papadopoulos while behind the lyrics is Kyriakos Doumos.

    Eleni Foureira presented for the first time "Aeraki" on the stage of this year's Mad Video Music Awards, in an act that stole the show. Now she has released the music video of her new track taking us in a Greek summer sensation with Eleni showcasing her exceptional dance skills trhough another dynamic choreography. Ancient Greek Columns , pictures of the sea all giving us a full dose of the Greek summer while the mixture of latin sounds and greek ethnic elements in the music travel us to the Greek Islands.

    In the music video, directed by George Benioudakis, the explosive performer transforms into a modern goddess Aphrodite and enchants us once again. In addtion, Eleni Foureira appears with super iconic appearances, as she wears exclusively archive creations of the emblematic French designer Jean Paul Gaultier, from his RTW and Haute Couture collections from 1995 to 2020.

    Eleni Foureira in Eurovision 

    Eleni Foureira, made her first attempt to reach the Eurovision stage in 2010 when she participated in the Greek national final with Manos Pyrovolakis & Don’t Ask with Kivotos tou Noe and placed 2nd.

    Eleni Foureira  was internally selected by CyBC and represented Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song “Fuego”. On 8 May 2018 she qualified from the first semi-final to the grand final, where she finished second with 436 points, the best result Cyprus has ever achieved in the contest.

    After her achievement with “Fuego” in Eurovision 2018 ,  Eleni has met growing success across Europe holding concerts and attending major music events. Her success was followed by several new hits such as Karamela, "Tomame", "El Ritmo Psicodélico","Loquita", Temperatura,  Light it upDokimase me, Borei. 

    In Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv Eleni was invited back to take part in the  Switch Song interval with Gali Atari, Måns Zelmerlöw, Conchita and Verka Serduchka. Her rendition of ‘Dancing Lasha Tumbai’ is something that the fans will remember for years.
