Australia: Sheppard drop new track ‘Animals’

The indie pop band Sheppard from Australia have dropped their new track, ‘Animals’, from their upcoming album Kaleidoscope Eyes.
The third runner up act of the Australian national selection in 2019, group Sheppard , have been releasing several new songs throughtout the year after their Eurovision national selection participation. Just a week ago the indie pop group made public that their thrid album titled Kaleidoscope Eyes. is set to come out on February 19, 2021. Describing their new work the group states:
"This is an album dedicated to the wonders of love, in every form. When you’re in love, the world feels like a more colourful, vibrant place - like someone has turned the saturation up on the world around you. This is our version of what that vivid, euphoric experience would sound like. We’ve poured everything we have into this album over the last two years, and we can’t wait to have this labour of love out there in the world for you all to enjoy forever".
Revealing month by month the track of their new work Sheppard have released the new upbeat single "Animals". The group through their official twitter accountt stated:
This song is for those who have always felt a little different to the rest of the crowd. It's for those who dance to the beat of their own drum and let their inner animals run wild.
A few words about Sheppard
Sheppard are an indie pop band from Brisbane form in 2009 . Their debut studio album, Bombs Away, was released on 11 July 2014, and peaked at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association, while their second single, “Geronimo”, spent three weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified 5× platinum.
At the ARIA Music Awards of 2013, Sheppard were nominated for Best Independent Release for “Let Me Down Easy”. At the 2014ceremony, they were nominated for Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Independent Release, Best Pop Release, Song of the Year, Producer of the Year, and Best Video and won the 2014 ARIA Award for Best Band
In 2019 following their participation in the Australian national final for Eurovision 2019 at Gold Coast, they released their singles ‘Kiss My Fat Ass’ and ‘Die Young’.
Sheppard and Eurovision
Sheppard entered the first Australia national final "Australia Decides" in 2019. They finished third out of 10 acts with their song “On My Way”.
