American Song Contest 2022: Watch tonight the 4th qualifying round

  • The inaugural edition of the American Song Contest continues tonight with the 4th qualifying round taking place at 1:00 am CEST (12/4).

    The idea of the Eurovision Song Contest format crossing the Atlantic is fully unfolding since March 21 with the first qualifying round while this evening the show progresses to the fourth qualifying heat. 

    The American Song Contest which is brought to the audience by Propagate in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group , will see Over three qualifying heats, semifinals and a Grand final show with competing acts taking part and representing all 50 states, five U.S. territories and the nation’s capital Washington DC.

    Ahead of this night's performances and results, the rest three qualifiers of the third heat heat which were decided via an online voting last week will be announced. We remind you that the act that qualified according to the jury's verdict was Tyler Braden representing Tennessee.  

    This evening the competition continues  with the second set of 11 contestants competing in the 4th qualifying round. Namely the act to take the stage in this heat are: 

    1. Arizona: Las Marías – De La Finikera
    2. Georgia: Stela Cole – DIY
    3. Hawaii: Bronson Varde – 4 You
    4. Massachusetts: Jared Lee – Shameless
    5. Nevada: The Crystal Method – Watch Me Now
    6. New Hampshire: MARi – Fly
    7. Pennsylvania: Bri Steves – Plenty Love
    8. Utah: Savannah Keyes – Sad Girl
    9. Washington: Allen Stone – A Bit of Both
    10. Washington, D.C.: NËITHER – I Like It
    11. West Virginia: Alexis Cunningham – Working on a Miracle

     

    The Voting Process

    A jury consisting of 56 members will cast its votes in order to select the first qualifier to the semfinals. The rest competing acts will go through a public voting that will run for two days up to Wednesday with three more semifinalists determined. However, the qualifiers will be announced each time at the beginning of the next live show. 

     

    The Hosts

    Kelly Clarkson and  Snoop Dogg will have the honor to guide the viewers throught the series of shows of the first ever American Song Contest.

    Kelly  is an American singer, songwriter, actress, author, and television personality. She rose to fame for winning the first season of American Idol in 2002, which earned her a record deal with RCA. Her debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and became the country's best selling single of 2002.Clarkson has sold over 25 million albums and 45 million singles worldwide. She has 11 top-ten singles in the US, and nine top-ten singles in the UK, Canada, and Australia. 

    Snoop Dogg is an American rapper, songwriter, media personality, actor, and entrepreneur. His fame dates to 1992 when he featured on Dr. Dre's debut solo single, "Deep Cover", and then on Dre's debut solo album, The Chronic. Broadus has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide. He has on his recored an impressive total of 19 studios albums, among which his second album, Tha Doggfather, , with "Snoop's Upside Ya Head" as the lead single with the album been certified double-platinum, while his latest, 19th album, released last month titled "BODR".
