San Marino: Second semi-final qualifiers of 'Una Voce Per San Marino' ; The selection goes on tonight with the Third semi-final

  • Four more qualifiers of the Sammarinese national selection for Eurovision 2023 have been determined with the second semi-final.

    After several days of castings, 106 acts have been shortlisted to move on to the semifinals stage with the second semi final that taking place last evening. The show took place in Sala Polivalente – Auditorium Little Tony in the City of San Marino. The hostess of the night was Ilenia De Sena.

     

     

    The second set of four qualifiers to the final show that go straight to the finals have been determined. Namely the ones that secured the spot to join the national final line up are: 

    • Eiffel 65 (Italy)- "Movie Star"
    • Ellynora (Italy)- "Mama Told Me"
    • Iole (Italy) - "Sui Tetto Del Mondo"
    • Le Deva (Italy) - "Fiori Su Marte"

    Also a second set of four acts will compete on Friday's seccond chance round: 

    • Flexx (Italy)– "GOK (God Only Knows)"
    • Florin Raduta (Belgium) – "My Mind"
    • Kiara D.V. feat. Pamela Ivonne Cole (U.K) – "My time"
    • La Bebae (Italy) – "Tocco Il Fondo"

    On the other hand, 19 more contestants have been eliminated from the national selection and will not continue their way in the competition:

    3. Ferrán Faba – “Cita En El Metaveso”
    4. Francesca Monte & Kevan – “Holding On To You”
    5. Francesco Balasso – “Chi Sono”

    7. Francesco Monte – “Eklissi”
    8. FreakyBea – “Fiori”
    9. Gelida – “Frena”
    10. GINNY VEE – “Haunted”
    11. Gisele Abramoff – “Playlist”
    12. Ice Eye – “Raging Storm”
    13. Ilenya – “Japan”
    14. JENNY & ME – “Portami Nel Cuore”
    15. Jenny May – “When The World Awakens”
    16. Kurt Cassar – “Hurdles”
    17. Laioung feat. Marzio – “12 Hours”
    18. Leonor – “Una Parola Sola”
    19. LODIA – “Fine Del Mondo”

     

    The semifinals timeline

    From February 20 to 25, these 106 acts will compete in the semifinals in order to win one of the spots in the final round.

    During the first four semi final heats (February 20-25) 104 international acts in total final will compete against each other. Also, the Sammarinese acts will compete in the fifth semi final on February 24. From all five semi final rounds the top four acts qualify to the final round.

    On February 24 a second chance round will give the opportunity to the 16 semifinalists that finished 4th to 8th place to secure one of the four spots in stage for the final.

    Finally on February 12, 2022 the final will take place at Teatro Titano, City of San Marino.
