Finland: YLE reveals the UMK 2021 viewing figures and the voting breakdown

The Finnish broadcaster, YLE, has unveiled the viwewing figures and the vote breakdown of the UMK 2021 national final which saw Blind Channel triumph and will represent the nation at Eurovision 2021 with their song "Dark Side".
YLE, revealed the t.v figures and the analytical results of the country's national final which saw Blind Channel corwned winners and the next ESC 2021 hopefuls.
The national final attracted a total of 1,7 million viewers while the webstream broadcaster had an average of 1,1 million spectators watching the event. This number surpassed last year's figures by 200.000 more viewers.
Public voting
A total of 138.195 votes were cast in the selection with 92.017 of them coming through YLE's application and the rest 46.178 via SMS and phone calls. The public votes were distributed as following:
- Blind Channel — 75.040 votes
- Teflon Brothers x Pandora — 23.493 votes
- Ilta — 15.892 votes
- Oskr — 8.292 votes
- Aksel — 8.154 votes
- Danny — 5.942 votes
- Laura — 1.382 votes
The overall results came out through a combination of public voting ( 75% share) and jury voting ( 25% share). The analytical results turned out as below:
- Teflon Brothers x Pandora - "I Love You" ( 150 + 30)
- Aksel - "Hurt" (52 + 56)
- Laura - "Play" ( 9 +4)
- Danny -“Sinä päivänä kun kaikki rakastaa mua” (38 +22)
- Oskr -"Lie" (53 + 62)
- Blind Channel - "Dark Side" (479 +72)
- Ilta -"Kelle mä soitan" Kelle mä soitan" (101 + 48)
Blind Channel literally triumphed in the public voting which contributed to their landslide overall victory. Lets remember their national final perofrmance that secured for them the ticket to Rotterdam:
