Eurovision 2024: Rehearsals set to begin on April 27

The Eurovision 2024 rehearsals are set to commence on Saturday April 27, 2024 in Malmö Arena.
With the stage construction in Malmö Arena underway, the city of Malmö is getting ready to welcome in just over two weeks from today the 37 delegations taking part in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest.
According to EBU and the Swedish hosting broadcaster, SVT, the rehearsals for this year's contest will kick off on Saturday, April 27. With the first three runs of rehearsals held behind closed doors, for the first rehearsals the press and media will have to check out for small in duration snippets released on TikTok. For the second rehearsals more short snippets are expected to go public on the contest's digital platforms.
However, the accredited media will have the chance to attend the First dress reheearsals of each show. Specifically the media will be able to watch in the arena the rehearsals on :
- Monday 6 May- 15:35 CEST ( 1st Semi-final dress rehearsal)
- Wednesday 8 May- 15:45 CEST ( 2nd Semi-final dress rehearsal)
- Friday 10 May-13:30 CEST ( Grand final dress rehearsal)
Eurovision 2024
Following Loreen's victorious participation with 'Tatoo' in Liverpool last year , the next contest will be taking place in Malmo. Sweden.Malmö will host the contest for the third time, having previously hosted in 1992 and 2013.
Eurovision 2024 is set to unfold on May 7, 9 with the two semifinals and on May 11 with the Grand final in Malmo Arena. A total of 37 countires will be participating in the 68th edition .
In this year's edition EBU established the slogan 'United by Music' as the permanent slogan of the contest while 'Eurovision Light' is the title of the 2024 contest's theme art.
