Azerbaijan: Mads Enggaard confirmed as Efendi's Eurovision 2021 staging director

Mads Enggaard has revealed that he will be Efendi's stage director for her performance of "Mata Hari" at Eurovision 2021.
Through a post in his instagram account Mads Enggaard revealed that he will be responsible for Azerbaijan's hopeful staging of the song "Mata Hari" on Rotterdam's Ahoy stage.
Enggard is not stragner to the Eurovision family as he has been involved in the Eurovision event several times in the past, as a producer of the Viewing room in the editions of 2014, 2015,2017 and in Junior Eurovision 2018.
In addition Mads was behind the staging of several Danish entries. Namely, he was the stage director of the 2004, 2010, 2018 and 2019 Danish entries. The exprerienced director is collaborating with the Azeri delegation for a thrid consecutive year. Enggaard himelf expressed his excitement on his instagram account saying:
"I’m proud and honored to once again work with this talented artist since we never got to complete all our plans last year... It’s the third year in a row that I have the pleasure to work as stage director for Azerbaijan in Eurovision and this year I reaaaally hope we get to go to Rotterdam and finish what we’ve started."
Azerbaijan invited back for Eurovision 2021 last year's ESC hopeful, Samira Efendi, who will perform "Mata Hari" in Rotterdam. The song has been penned by Amy van der Wel, Josh Earl, Luuk van Beers and Tony Cornelissen. Efendi will compete in the second half of the 1st semi-final show on May 18, 2021.
