Two weeks ago during the special show "Europe Shine a Light" Warsaw was confirmed as the next host city along with the logo and slogan of the next Junior Eurovision. However TVP's announcement of the host city brought up speculations of the potential venues of the next contest.

The radio song contest P4 Nästa, from which the first competing act of Melodifestivalen 2021 will come out, is unwinding over the days with seven more acts selected from May 26 till June 1, rising the overall number of selected acts to nine.
