Kazakhstan: Khabar confirms Junior Eurovision 2022 participation and selection format

Khabar TV has confirmed their participation in Junior Eurovision 2022, the representative for which will be selected this evening.
Kazakhstan has confirmed that they will be present in Yerevan, Armenia for Junior Eurovision 2022. The Khabar Agency responsible for the country's participation has also revealed that the next JESC act will be determined via the Baqytty Bala show set to take place at 15:30 CEST today. The show will be aired live on Khabar Tv.
The winner of the national final will be selected by a jury made up by the following members:

The acts to take the stage and battle for the golden tickets that leads to Yerevan are:

Kazakhstan in Junior Eurovision
Kazakhstan debuted at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2018 after EBU’s invitation to broadcaster, Khabar Agency, to join the contest. The country was represented by the national final winner, Daneliya Tuleshova and her entry “Ózińe sen” which finished in 5th place at the competition held in Minsk, Belarus.
In 2019 12-year-old Yerzhan Maksim defended the Kazakh colors in Gliwice- Silesia in Poland and after delivering a stunning vocally performance of his entry, Armanyńnan Qalma achieved to top the jury voting and finish 2nd ion the overall scoreboard.
In 2020 Karakat Bashanova won the national final and represented the country with her song 'Forever' in Warsaw, Poland achieving to finish 2nd with 152 points in the overall score.
Last year Alinur Khamzin and Beknur Zhanibekuly represented Kazakhstan at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris with the song “Ertegı älemı (Fairy World)”. The duo finished 8th with a total of 121 points.
