Today: Junior Eurovision 2020 online voting kicks off ; TVP & EBU press conference to take place

  • With the final show of Junior Eurovision 2020 only two days away, TVP and EBU are holding a press conference this afternoon while the online voting opens later in the evening. 

    Early this morning the organisers unveiled pictures of the finalized stage which will host this year's contest. Meanwhile rehearsals of the interval act will take place. Later on in the afternoon a TVP & EBU press conference is set to take place while today the online voting will kick off.

    TVP & EBU Press Conference ( 14:00 CET) 

    The host broadcaster TVP and EBU will be holdng a press conference this afternoon with TVP President Jacek Kurski and   EBU Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl will be making their statements on this year's contest.  The press conferecne will be joined also by last year's winner Viki Gabor. Although the press wasn't able to travel this year to attend the event media outlets accross the globe have the chance to submit their questions via mail to all three of them.     Junior Eurovision 2020 Online voting opens at 20:00 CET

    The online voting for the 18th edition of Junior Eurovision will open today at 20:00 CET and voters will be able to cast their votes until Sunday , November 29, at 16:59 CET. The online voting will open again for 15 minutes during the final show. Voters will watch 1 minutes clips of the competing entries and will be alble to vote for three songs maximum. Voters can vote for their own country and cast their choices one time only per device. All you have to do is visit as long as they visit JuniorEurovisiontv's voting page  watch the recap of all songs and cast your vote from your three favorite entries. 

    A total of 12 countries are competing in this year's contest while Poland is hosting the competition for a second successive year. The final show is set to take place on November 29, 17:00 CET . Due to the covid-19 pandemic, Junior Eurovision 2020  will be held in a recording studio at the headquarters of Polish Television in Warsaw at Woronicza Street.
