Junior Eurovision 2020: The hosts to be unveiled on October 7; Five nations left to select their entries

TVP, the Polish broadcaster hosting the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Warsaw will unveil the hosts of this year's edition on October 7, 2020.
TVP will be holding a special press conference during which it will announce the hosts that will be presenting to us this year's Junioe Eurovision. The press conference is set to take place at TVP's headquarters in Warsawm on October 7.
This year a total of 13 countries will be participating in the 18th edition of Junior Eurovision while already eight nations have selected their entries. The list of selected acts and entries so far has as following:

Serbia (RTS) - Petar Anicic (Heartbeat)
Spain (RTVE) - Soleá (Palante)
Ukraine (UA:PBC) - Oleksandr Balabanov (Vidkryvai - Open)
Poland (TVP) - Alicja Tracz ( I'll be standing)
Germany (ARD/ZDF/Kika) - Susan ( Stronger with you )
Due to the Covid- 19 pandemic this year's contest which will be hosted in Poland for a second concsecutive year, will take place in a different form, in order to secure the contestants' security. The 18th Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted live from Warsaw in a studio with all presenters and necessary crew socially distancing. Interval acts will also perform live from Warsaw. For the same purpose all the competing songs will be performed in a studio in each participating country.
