Germany: KiKa to broadcast two shows with the JESC 2020 Auditions

• KiKA, the German broadcaster responsible for the country’s debut participation in the 2020 Junior Eurovision Contest, will be broadcasting  two show of the auditions held to select the country's debut participant at the competition. 

  KiKa will be airing the “Junior Eurovision Song Contest – das Casting” across Tuesday 1st September and Wednesday 2nd September. The first broadcast will show those that’ve auditioned and the five finalists been picked by the internal jury. On Wednesday 2nd September, the second programme will show how the five finalists fare in front of the internal jury.

  Levent Geiger, "Your-Song" finalist 2019, will compose the German entry for the Junior ESC. Together with the 17-year-old singer and songwriter, the artist that will be selected will work together in order to prepare the best song that will represent the central European country on its first appearance in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. 

  This will be Germany debut appearance it the competition whiich is set to take place on November 29, in Warsaw, Poland.
