    Azerbaijan in Junior Eurovision

Azerbaijan debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Although back in 2008, İTV announced that Azerbaijan would take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Limassol, they withdrew before the contest, because there were too few candidates for the national selection and consequently canceled its debut.

After taking part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013, Azerbaijan withdrew from the contest because of unspecified reasons and did not return until the 2018 edition of the contest in Belarus. Their best result was achieved in 2013  by Rustam Karimov who finished 7th singing "Me and my Guitar" , while the worst came with  Fidan Huseynova in 2018 with her song "I Wanna Be Like You" . İTV announced on 1 July 2019 that they will not take part in the 2019 contest in Gliwice, Poland.
