Junior Eurovision 2021: Voters to select up to three countries in the online voting
Thursday, 09 December 2021

  • For a second consecutive year the voters in the online voting will be able to select up to three countries maximum.

With the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest just around the corner, the official video explaining the voting process have already been released in some languages. Namely, the Albanian and Russian language versions of the official video confirm the number of three countries as the maximum selected in the online voting.

Last year due to the low number of participating countries because of the covid-19 pandemic, the voting process was tweaked and each voter could select up to three countries. In previous editions that number started from three countries up to five.

The first voting period opens on December 17 at 20:00 CET and will close at 15:59 CET on December 19 just before the live show hits the screen. Voting will re-open during the live show for 15 minutes. The percentage each country will receive in the online voting will be accordingly turned into points added in the overall scoreboard.

The 19th edition of Junior Eurovision is set to take place on December 19, at 16:30 CET and will see a total of 19 countries compete on the stage of the iconic concert hall La Seine Musicale in Paris.  The countries that will take the stage in 10 days from now are:
