Junior Eurovision 2021: Stage set up underway

The set up of the stage on which the Junior Eurovision 2021 contestants will be performing their entries is underway.
With the 19th edition of Junior Eurovision just two weeks away, the construction of of this year's stage has begun with the organisers in full steam to keep up with the time schedule of preparations.
The stage manager Luc Le Coq has released through his social media accounts, the first images from inside the concert hall La Seine Musicale where the competition will take place with the first steps of the stage construction being a fact.
Previously the host broadcaster had unveiled the stage design giving us a first impression of how this year's stage will look like in La Seine Musicale.
The JESC 2021 stage showcases the city it is located in, Paris!! A spacious stage for the performers in the middle with two extended bridges on both sides, give us a strong picture of Paris and its repsective bridges along the Seine river in Paris. Of course the lighting is another significant element of the stage and how can it not be, when we are talking about the 'City of Lights'.
In accrodance with the latest health conditions regarding covid-19, an audience of circa 3000 spectators will be allowed to attend the event with an additional 1000 spectators to be allowed if the situation allows it. On the contrary, is has been decided no audience to attend the Jury show eventually, despite first plans that predicted the presence of an audience.
The 19th edition of Junior Eurovision is set to take place on December 19, at 16:30 CET and will see a total of 19 countries compete on the stage of the iconic concert hall La Seine Musicale in Paris. The countries that will take the stage in 18 days from now are:

- Ireland – Maiú Levi Lawlor – Saor
- Italy – Elisabetta Lizza – Specchio (Mirror on the Wall)
- Kazakhstan – Alinur Khamzin and Beknur Zhanibek – Fairy World
- Malta – Ike & Kaya – My Home
- Netherlands – Ayana – Mata Sugu Aō Ne
