Poland: the themes of the Szansa na sukces – Eurowizja Junior 2022 Semi-Finals revealed

TVP, Poland's national broadcaster, has released the music themes of the Szansa na sukces – Eurowizja Junior 2022 semifinals.
Poland will be selecting for one more year their Junior Eurovision 2022 hopeful via the show Szansa na sukces – Eurowizja Junior 2022 which will consist of three semi-final heats and one final show. The national selection will kick off on September 4 and will be aired weekly at 15:15 CET on TVP 2, while the show will be hosted by Aleksander Sikora.
During each semi-final the contestants will perform songs froma specific theme. TVP revealed the themes that will run for the three semifinals which are:
- Semi-Final 1 – Worldwide Hits (04/09)
- Semi-Final 2 – Polish Junior Eurovision Entries (11/09)
- Semi-Final 3 – Eurovision Entries (18/09)
In each semi final the acts will perform befora a jury that will select one to advance to the final show while TVP has the right to choose up to two wildcards for the final.
The final show is set for September 25, witht the finalists performing one cover songs and their potential Junior Eurovision entry. A combination of jury and public voting will deermined the winner that will fly to Yerevan and defend the Polish colors at Junior Eurovision 2022.
Poland in Junior Eurovision
Poland’s first participation at the competition was in 2003, while she was absent the years 2005 – 2015. The country’s worst result came in 2004 when it finished 17th . In 2018 with Roksana Węgiel the country scored its first victory in Minsk, Belarus with her entry Anyone I Want To Be , which was followed by a second in a row win with Viki Gabor and her song "Superhero" in Gliwice- Silesia.
In 2020, Ala Tracz represented the national with the song “I’ll Be Standing” and came 9th with 90 points. Last year in Paris Sara James defened the Polish colors with her song 'Somebody' offering to the country one more outstanding result by finishing in 2nd place.
