Junior Eurovision 2022: More competing acts head to Yerevan, Armenia

Over the weekend more delegations from across Europe began their Junior Eurovision to Yerevan, Armenia ahead of the Opening Ceremony on Monday, December 5, 2022.
With the first wave of delegates taking off in Friday, the departures for Yerevan, Armenia continued for the 15 delegations throughout the weekend.
While the final show will be taking place on December 11, the Opening Ceremony is set for this Monday and therefore the acts flying over to Armenia in oder to be on time for the Opening event and welcome reception.

Earlier this morning the Italian delegate, Chanel Dilecta reached Yerevan
Katarina Savić from Serbia was ready for take off this morning
The Spanish delegation with Carlos Higes took off this afternoon bringing their latin vibes song to Armenia.
Gaia Gambuzza from Malta is touching her diamonds in the skies flying over to Yerevan this afternoon.
The UK's delegation with Freya Skye is hitting their airway to Yerevan departing this afternoon from Heathrow Airport
The French delegation with this year's hopeful Lissandro and JESC 2020 winner Valentina departing earlier today from Charles Degalle airport for Yerevan.
Until Monday all delegation will have reached capital city of Armenia in order to take part in the Openng Ceremony from 16:00 CET.
Junior Eurovision 2022
Junior Eurovision is turning 20 years old this year and is set to take place in Yerevan, Armenia, following last year's victorious pariticipation with Malena Fox and her song 'Qami Qami'. A total of 16 countries will be taking part in this year's edition which has as its slogan 'Spin the Magic'.
The 16 competing countries are:
- Albania: Kejtlin Gjata – “Pakëz diell”
- Armenia (host country): Nare - Dance!
- France: Lissandro – “Oh Maman!”
- Georgia: Mariam Bigvava – “I Believe”
- Ireland: Sophie Lennon – “Solas”
- Italy: Chanel Dilecta – “Bla Bla Bla”
- Kazakhstan: David Charlin – “Jer-Ana”
- Malta: Gaia Gambuzza – “Diamonds in the Skies”
- Netherlands: Luna – “La festa”
- North Macedonia: Lara feat. Jovan & Irina – “Životot e pred mene”
- Poland: Laura Bączkiewicz – “To the Moon”
- Portugal: Nicolas Alves – “Anos 70”
- Serbia: Katarina Savić – “Svet bez granica”
- Spain: Carlos Higes – “Señorita”
- Ukraine: Zlata Dziunka – “Nezlamna”
- United Kingdom: Freya Skye – “Lose My Head”
The competition is set to take place on December 11, 2022 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex which had hosted the contest back in 2011 when the country had hosted the contest for the first time. Iveta Mukuchyan, Garik Papoyan, and Karina Ignatyan along with Robin the robot have been confirmed as the trio who will be hosting the Junior Eurovision 2022 show in Yerevan.
