France: France Télévisions in favor of hosting Junior Eurovision 2023

Last year Lissandro with his entry "Oh Maman" won the 21st ediition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest held in Yerevan and brought the trophy to France for the second time. Delphine Ernotte, posted on Twitter confirmed that the French broadcaster will host Junior Eurovision 2023.
France in Junior Eurovision
France participated in the Junior Eurovision first time in 2004, when Thomas Pontier represented the country with “Si on voulait bien” and finished 6th . After that edition the country withdrew and stayed absent until the 2018 edition, when they returned with Angélina and the song Jamais Sans Toi which finished in the honorable 2nd place with 203 points.
In 2019 the nation was represented by Carla who 5th place in Gliwice, with the song “Bim Bam Toi”. In the 2020 edition of the compeition in Warsaw, Poland Valentina's winning performance of 'J'Imagine' that brought the trophy to France for the first time.
In 2021 Enzo represented the nation on home soil in Paria performing in 'La Seine Musicale' the song 'Tic-Tac' which finished in the honorable 3rd place receiving a total of 187 points.
Last year Lissandro singing "Oh Maman" won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with a total of 203 points.
