Albania: Junior Fest 2022 contestants unveiled

The 20 competing entries of the Albanian selection for Junior Eurovision 2022, Junior Fest 2022, have been unveiled.
Albania's national broadcster, RTSH, has opted for Junior Fest 2022 to determine the country's next Junior Eurovision hopeful. A total of 20 acts, that have been selected from public submissions procedure, will take the stage in order to batle for the ticket that leads to Yerevan, Armenia.
While the names and songtitles of the national selection have been revealed RTSH hasn't yet confirmed the date the national final will take place.
The list of the competing acts has as following:
- Ajlis Disha – “Motrat shoqe” (Sisters’ friend)
- Alesia Uruçi – “Qyteti im” (My city)
- Armela Kosta – “Ndriço” (Light up)
- Armela Shane – “Shqipëria ime” (My Albania)
- Bjorni Maxhallaku – “Emocione për dy zemra” (Emotions for two hearts)
- Dea Amoniku – “Nuk jemi lodër për asnjeri” (We are nobody’s toy)
- Eisi Mehmeti – “Dilemat” (Dilemmas)
- Ejza Hoxha – “Plot ëndrra jetën e dua” (I love a life full of dreams)
- Erta Jonuzi – “Premtim” (Promise)
- Irsa Mashi – “Dua të besoj” (I want to believe)
- Kei Piqani – “Shoqja ime më e mirë” (My best friend)
- Keit Hitaj – “Yjet e shpresës” (The stars of hope)
- Keitlin Gjata – “Pakëz diell” (A little sun)
- Noemi Pjetra – “Simfoni” (Symphony)
- Sara Elshani – “Adoleshentët” (Teenagers)
- Sibora Teqja – “Ne jemi paqja që sundon në botë” (We are the peace that rules the world)
- Sindi Zeka – “Botë bardhezi” (Black and white world)
- Viola Beshiri – “Qielli i moshës sime” (The sky of my age)
- Viola Gjyzeli – “Afrika” (Africa)
- Melodi Heta – “Balerinë do bëhem” (I will become a ballerina)
Albania in Junior Eurovision
Albania has been taking part in Junior Eurovision since 2012 and has missed out the edition in 2013 and 2014. The best result came in 2015 when the country finished 5th with Mishela Rapo singing Dambaje while in 2018 Efi Gjika who finished 17th with her entry Barbie and in 2019 in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland, where Isea Çili finished 17th with “Mikja ime fëmijëri”.
While the country withdrew in 2022 from the competition in Warsaw, last year they retunred with Anna Gjebrea singing in Paris “Stand by You” which finished 14th with 84 points.
