Eurovision 2021: First rehearsal for Anxhela Peristeri from Albania

  • Second to rehearse today on stage is Anxhela Peristeri from Albania who made her first rehearsal of "Karma".

    Back in December 2020 she won the country's national final 'Festivali i Këngës' securing the right to represent Albania at the 65th Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. In December 2001, Peristeri participated in Festivali i Këngës with the song "Vetëm ty të kam".

    In addition the talented act  has achieved a significant music career in Greece by singing on stage next to big names of the Greek music scene and participated in the Greek x-factor. 

     

     

    The staging

    Anxhela appears alone on stage, wearing a glittering silver body with fringes. She starts her perforrmance dynamically, with the red color flooding the LEDs screen. There are red and blue explosions in the LEDs and later with grey clouds apprearing to the end. In the 3rd run some dry ice on stage is added to her performance. There choreography is minimal with movements that she does on her own. Once again Anxhela showcases her stunning vocal skills. 

    In the overall avery dynamic performance with the vocals captivating the audience. It seems she ll win one of the 10 qualifying tickets to the final.
