Croatia: The Head of Delegation sheds light on Albina's Eurovision staging of Tick-Tock

Croatia's Head of Delegation , Uršule Tolj, has shared some details regarding Albina's Eurovision staging in Rotterdam and confirms Marvin Dietmann as Albina's artistic director.
Over a month earlier, 22 years old Albina Grčić won the Croatian national final, Dora 2021, with her song "Tick-Tock" and earned the right to represent the country at Eurovision 2021. Like all Eurovision acts the Coratian act is making her preparations in order to present on Rotterdam ahoy's stage a outstanding and spectacular performance.
According to the country's Head of Delegation, Uršule Tolj , talking to local media stated that Albina Grčić will sing a bilingual version of the song 'Tick-Tock' at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam on May 18, identical to the one she won at Dora. Tolj went a step further and revealed a new national final rule will be issued, with the song performed and voted as wiining entry in the national final will be the same we see on the Eurovision stage.
Albina's staging
Uršule Tolj confirmed that the Croatian hopeful will perform in Rotterdam similarly dressed as at Dora. The idea of the costumes themselves remains the same, but with minor modifications - explains Ursula Tolj and reveals how Albina and her dancers plan to use all three stages in the Dutch Ahoy Arena:
"The main stage, auxiliary stage and the part intended for 'catwalk'. All this, of course, will be coordinated with the stage director of the performance, Marvin Dietmann , a professional who worked for many Eurovision singers, and at Dora he was in charge of creating the stage performance of Albina's competitor Bernarda Brunović."
Marvin Dietmann is a director, choreographer and creative professional, who has a lot of experience in the entertainment business. He is responsible for the winning staging concept for Conchita Wurst for Austria in 2014 and Cesar Sampson's 3rd place in 2018. Dietmann was also stage director at Eurovision 2015, 2017 and 2018 and Viewing room Director in 2019.
Already this year the experienced director has been assigned to direct the staging for the Austrian, Czech, Spanish, Bulgarian, Estonian and Cypriot entry in Rotterdam.
A few words for Albina
Albina Grčić, known professionally by the mononym Albina, is a Croatian singer who grew up in a musical family and went to music school at eight-years-old. She learned to play the piano in music school, and participated in musicals. She began her career after participating in December 2019, in season three of The Voice Hrvatska where she finished third.
Previously Albina Grčić auditioned for the second season of X Factor Adria in Belgrade, Serbia by singing "Ako izgubim te ja" by Oliver Dragojević. Advancing to the next round, the production decided to form a girl group with Grčić as a member. She declined the offer and ended her participation at the show.
Immediately after coming third on The Voice, Grčić was signed to a record deal with Universal Music Croatia. On 16 October 2020 her debut single, "Imuna na strah", was released.
