Albania: Here are the Festival i Këngës 59 first show performances

  • The first show of the 59th Festival i Këngës took place this evening in Tirana with a total of 25 competing acts taking the stage. 

    The iconic music festival that tradionally opens the Eurovsion national finals season, was aired live this evening by the Albanian national broadcaster, RTSH. The show was hosted by  Blendi Salaj and Jonida Vokshi and directed by  Martin Leka.

    During this first night the 25 acts performed the studio version of their entries and presented their respective staging proposal for Eurovision 2021, without however any eliminations taking place.

    Here are the 25 acts and performances we watched unfold during this evening's show:

    9. Wendi Mancaku – Si ajo
    10. Gjergj Kaçinari – Më jep jetë
    11. Era Rusi – Zjarri im
    12. Devis Xherahu – Peng
    13. Stefan Marena – Meteor
    14. Rosela Gjylbegu – Vashëzo
    15. Sardi Strugaj – Kam me t’ba me kajt
    16. Xhesika Polo – Më mbron
    17. Florent Abrashi – Vajzë
    18. Fatos Shabani – Ty

    Tomorrow the second show of the competition will take place with the 25 acts performing again an acoustic version of their entries. The final show of the competition is set for December 23 , during which a jury voting exclusively will determine the winner that will represent Albania at Eurovision 2021.
