Eurovision 2024: 'Eurovision Lights' Malmö's theme art

  • The Eurovision 2024 host broadcaster, SVT, has released the theme art for the contest next edition titled 'Eurovision Lights'. 

    The Swedish broadcaster, SVT and EBU reveald the theme art that will feature Eurovision 2024 along with the permanent slogan of all contests 'United By Music'. 

    Eurovision Light is the title of the next contest theme are , a colourful branding which was created by Johan Bello from the design agency Uncut, inspired by the Northern Lights and the rhythm of sound equalizers.

    Christel Tholse Willers (ESC 2024 Deputy Executive Producer) says:

    We are so proud to present an identity that is designed to be flexible and useful both on and off the TV show. It is inspired by the magnificent “Northern lights”, whose beauty and mystery have been transformed into “The Eurovision Lights”. It is a captivating and beautiful mix of Eurovision’s sparkling colors that will not only adorn the program but also create exciting variations in different contexts and a Eurovision feel in Malmö’s urban space.

     

    John Bello (Uncut/Creative Director ESC 2024)  says:

    The identity is not just a logo but a story in itself, with the northern lights as the basis and the Eurovision Song Contest’s [brand] colour palette as the driving force. This union of elements creates a dynamic and versatile palette that will open up for creative use in different ways.

     

     

    Eurovision 2024

    Following Loreen's victorious participation with 'Tatoo' in Liverpool last year , the next contest will be taking place in Malmo. Sweden.Malmö will host the contest for the third time, having previously hosted in 1992 and 2013.

    Eurovision 2024 is set to unfold on May 7, 9 with the two semifinals and on May 11 with the Grand final. A total of 37 countires will be participating in the 68th edition .
