Tonight: Sweden decides for Eurovision 2023 with the Melodifestivalen Grand Final

Sweden's quest for Eurovision 2023 concludes tonight with the Grand Final show of Melodifestivalen selecting the country's act and entry for Liverpool.
“Melodifestivalen 2023” consisted this year of 5 semi-final rounds and this evening's grand final show. A total of 28 acts took part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts competing in each of the first four heats and two first of them qualifying directly t the grand final while the 3rd and 4th placed act had a second chance in the semi-final.
Following last weeks semi-final show that filled in the last four spots of the final, this evening the grand final show is taking place at Friends Arena in Stockholm. The show will be hosted by Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl and will se a total of 12 contestants competing for the right to represent Sweden at Eurovision 2023.
The 12 contestants will take the stage in the following running order:
- Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North feat. Adam Woods – “Where You Are (Sávežan)”
- Tone Sekelius – “Rhythm Of My Show”
- Mariette– “One Day”
- Marcus & Martinus – “Air”
- Panetoz – “On My Way”
- Maria Sur – “Never Give Up”
- Smash Into Pieces – “Six Feet Under”
- Kiana – “Where Did You Go”
- Nordman – “Släpp alla sorger”
- Loreen – “Tattoo”
- THEOZ – “Mer av dig”
- Paul Rey – “Royals”
The result
The final winners of the competition will be determined 50% by public voting and 50% by international juries' voting the juros of which will come from the following countries:
- Australia
- Belgium
- Croatia
- Latvia
- Malta
- Spain
- Germany
- Austria
