Tonight: Festivali i Këngës 2022 goes on with the 3rd semi-final show

• The Albanian national selection for Eurovision 2023 carries on this evening with the 3rd semi-final show of Festivali i Këngës.

  The iconic music competition that has been selecting over the years Albania's Euroivision hopeful, Festivali i Këngës, progresses this evening to the third semi-final show. 

  This year's event has gone under several amendments as the show will unfold over three days, three semifinals and one grand final show. A total of 26 acts will be competing in this year's edition. 

  Following the first two semi final evenings which saw two sets of 13 acts performing on stage their songs, this evening the 3rd semifinal is set to hit the screen this evening with the all 26 competing acts taking the stage to deliver cover songs of past entries of the competition alongside with other Albanian artists. 

  Namely the ones to take the stage in today's semi-final heat  are: 

  • Enxhi Nasufi – “Burrë” (Man)
  • Erma Mici – “Kozmosi i dashurisë” (The cosmos of love)
  • Fabian Basha – “Një gotë” (A glass)
  • Fifi – “Evita”
  • Urban Band – “Në çdo hap” (At every step)
  • 2 Farm – “Atomike” (Atomic)
  • Rezarta Smaja – “N’Eden” (In Eden)
  • Albina dhe familja Kelmendi – “Duje” (Love it)
  • Serxhio Hajdini – “Vështirë” (Tough)
  • Rovena Dilo – “Motit” (Weather)
  • Melodajna Mancaku – “Gjysma e zemrës sime” (Half of my heart)
  • Permit of Stay – “Fobia” (Phobias)
  • Gjergj Kaçinari – “Dje” (Yesterday)
  • Franc Koruni – “Në pritje” (Pending)
  • Petrit Çarkaxhiu – “Emri yt mirësi” (Your name is good)
  • Elsa Lila – “Evita”
  • Gent Hoxha – “Ajër” (Air)
  • Evi Reçi – “Ma kthe” (Give me back)
  • Manjola Nallbani – “Dua” (Love)
  • Lynx – “Nëse ke besim” (If you have faith)
  • Alban & Lore – “Melodi” (Melody)
  • Vanesa Sono – “Aroma jonë” (Our fragrence)

   

  The outcome

  Change of direction for Festivali i Këngës as the outcome of this year's edition which will determine the Albanian Eurovision 2023 representative will not be determined by a jury panel or a combination of jury and public voting, but exclusively by the televoting verdict. 

  Thus, the public only will have a say on who will be flying to Liverpool next May to represent Albania. However, in addition the jury will award prizes in three categories: 

  • First, Second and Third in the jury vote
  • First for young artists and alternative groups
  • First for established artists

  The third semifinal of  Festivali i Këngës 2022 is set to hit the screen at 21:00 CET  and you can watch the show live via the RTSH 1 webcast.
