Tonight: Albania decides for Eurovision 2023 with the final of Festivali i Këngës

• Albania is deciding this evening their Eurovision 2023 hopeful with the final show of the 61st edition of  Festivali i Këngës.

  After three semi-final heats that took place the previosu three evening the final show for  Festivali i Këngës that will determine the Albanian Eurovision 2023 representative is set for this evening at 21:00 CET live at the Palace of Congress.

  A total of 21 acts will be taking the stage for the last time to deliver their competing entries. Namely on stage this evening we will see: 

   

  • Enxhi Nasufi – “Burrë” (Man)
  • Erma Mici – “Kozmosi i dashurisë” (The cosmos of love)
  • Fabian Basha – “Një gotë” (A glass)
  • Fifi – “Evita”
  • Urban Band – “Në çdo hap” (At every step)
  • 2 Farm – “Atomike” (Atomic)
  • Rezarta Smaja – “N’Eden” (In Eden)
  • Albina dhe familja Kelmendi – “Duje” (Love it)
  • Serxhio Hajdini – “Vështirë” (Tough)
  • Rovena Dilo – “Motit” (Weather)
  • Melodajna Mancaku – “Gjysma e zemrës sime” (Half of my heart)
  • Permit of Stay – “Fobia” (Phobias)
  • Gjergj Kaçinari – “Dje” (Yesterday)
  • Franc Koruni – “Në pritje” (Pending)
  • Petrit Çarkaxhiu – “Emri yt mirësi” (Your name is good)
  • Elsa Lila – “Evita”
  • Gent Hoxha – “Ajër” (Air)
  • Evi Reçi – “Ma kthe” (Give me back)
  • Manjola Nallbani – “Dua” (Love)
  • Lynx – “Nëse ke besim” (If you have faith)
  • Alban & Lore – “Melodi” (Melody)
  • Vanesa Sono – “Aroma jonë” (Our fragrence)

   

  The outcome

  Change of direction for Festivali i Këngës as the outcome of this year's edition which will determine the Albanian Eurovision 2023 representative will not be determined by a jury panel or a combination of jury and public voting, but exclusively by the televoting verdict. 

  Thus, the public only will have a say on who will be flying to Liverpool next May to represent Albania. However, in addition the jury will award prizes in three categories: 

  • First, Second and Third in the jury vote
  • First for young artists and alternative groups
  • First for established artists

   

  How to watch

  The third semifinal of  Festivali i Këngës 2022 is set to hit the screen at 21:00 CET  and you can watch the show live via the RTSH 1 webcast.
