San Marino: Third Semi-Final qualifiers of 'Una Voce Per San Marino' ; The selection goes on tonight with the Fourth Semi-Final

  • The third set of four qualifiers of the Sammarinese national selection for Eurovision 2023 have been determined with the 3rd semi-final.

    After several days of castings, 106 acts have been shortlisted to move on to the semifinals stage with the third semi final that taking place last evening. The show took place  in the Teatro Titano in the City of San Marino. The hostess of the night was Ilenia De Sena.

     

     

    The third set of four qualifiers to the final show that go straight to the finals have been determined. Namely the ones that secured the spot to join the national final line up are: 

    • Lorenzo Licitra (Italy) – “Never Give Up”
    • MAYU (Switzerland) “C’è qualcosa in me che non funziona” (“There Is Something In Me That Doesn’t Work”)
    • NeVRuZ (Italy) – “L’alieno” (“The Alien”)
    • Piqued Jacks (Italy) – “Like An Animal”

     

    Also a second set of four acts will compete on Friday's seccond chance round: 

    • Lost City feat Emerique (Italy) – “Titan”
    • Luna Palumbo (Italy) – “Batticuore” (“Heartbeat”)
    • MATE (Italy) – “Prisma” (“Prism”)
    • Morgana (Italy) – “A Lonely Night In Shanghai”

     

    On the other hand, 15 more contestants have been eliminated from the national selection and will not continue their way in the competition: 

    1. Lola (Croatia) – “Imperio” (“Empire”)
    2. Lorenza Rocchiccioli (Italy) – “I Am Worthy”
    3. Luca Minnelli (Italy) – “Lucky Love”
    4. Luciano Carlino (Italy) – “Hiroshima’s Dreams”
    5. Manuel Aspidi (Italy) – “Fading Out the Silence”
    6. Massimo Di Cataldo & Andrea Agresti (Italy) – “Una canzone brutta” (“A Bad Song”)
    7. Matilde (Italy) – “Come fanno i gatti” (“As Cats Do”)
    8. MeriCler (Italy) – “Souvenirs”
    9. Moreno (Italy) – “Vieni via con me” (“Come Away With Me”)
    10. Neja & Luca Guadagnini Band (Italy) – “Questione di fortuna” (“Matter of Luck”)
    11. Nicole Hammett (Malta) – “Giochi strategici” (“Strategic Games”)
    12. Noe (Italy) – “Sottosopra” (“Upside Down”)
    13. Only Sara (Italy) – “Bleach”
    14. Ophelio (Italy) – “Rubber”
    15. Out Offline (Italy) – “Endless Loop”

     

    The semifinals timeline

    From February 20 to 25, these 106 acts will compete in the semifinals in order to win one of the spots in the final round.

    During the first four semi final heats (February 20-25) 104 international acts in total final will compete against each other. Also, the Sammarinese acts will compete in the fifth semi final on February 24. From all five semi final rounds the top four acts qualify to the final round.

    On February 24 a second chance round will give the opportunity to the 16 semifinalists that finished 4th to 8th place to secure one of the four spots in stage for the final.

    Finally on February 12, 2022 the final will take place at Teatro Titano, City of San Marino.
