Lithuania: Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 Heat One results

• In Lithuania this evening their national selection for Eurovision 2023 commenced with the 1st heat of Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 determining the first 10 semifinalists. Rūta Mur performing the song “So Low” topped both, jury and public voting.

  The first qualifying round of Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 took place this evening with 15 contestants  Lithuania's quest for its Eurovision 2023 representative. The show will be hosted by Augustė Nombeko and Giedrius Masalskis. 

  Pabandom iš naujo! 2023 will unfold over five shows:  two qualifying heats, two semi-finals and a grand final. This evening the first heat will see a total of 15 competing acts taking the stage with the ambition to secure one of the 10 qualifying spots that lead to the semifinals. 

  Namely the 15 contestants that competed in the first qualifying round were: 

  1. Aistė Pilvelytė – “We’re Not Running”
  2. Joseph June – “Vacuum”
  3. Il Senso – “Sparnai” (Wings)
  4. W.I – “You Can Not”
  5. Multiks – “London”
  6. Luknė – “Paradise”
  7. Gabrielius Vagelis – “Šauksmas” (Shout)
  8. Alen Chicco – "Do You"
  9. Rūta Mur – “So Low”
  10. Justin 3 feat. Dj AugustYno – “Not Giving Up”
  11. Baiba – “When the Lights Go Out”
  12. Justa Rubežiūtė – “When I’ll Find”
  13. Noy – “Destiny’s Child”
  14. Paulina Paukštaitytė – “Let Me Think About Me”
  15. Justė Kraujelytė – “Need More Fun”

   

   

  THE RESULTS

  Ten acts secured their spot the semifinals with the result been determined by the jury and public voting (50% share each). The ten acts that advanced to the semifinals are:

  2. Il Senso – “Sparnai” (Wings)
  3. Luknė – “Paradise”
  4. Gabrielius Vagelis – “Šauksmas” (Shout)
  5. Alen Chicco – “Do You”
  6. Rūta Mur – “So Low”
  7. Justa Rubežiūtė – “When I’ll Find”
  8. Noy – “Destiny’s Child”
  9. Paulina Paukštaitytė – “Let Me Think About Me”
  10. Justė Kraujelytė – “Need More Fun”

  Rūta Mur performing the song “So Low”  topped both, jury's and public's voting.The Lithuanian national selection for Eurovision 2023 continues next Saturday on January 28 with the second qualifying round.
