Victor's song for Eurovision 2023 is an emotional atmospheric ballad with energetic vibes delivering the message of a human anxiety for your ownself which however can be liberating by saving the others the same time.
Well, you know what they sayLet's all make sure no one loses their wayI almost can't stand seeing others in painI am bold, now I got too much on my plateAnd I'll save all the others 'cause for me it's too...Earlier today “What They Say” premiered through the ERT’s show “Dio sti 1” and progressively is released on all digital and streaming platforms. Previously Victor had stated about his song:
‘What They Say’ is a song that from the moment I wrote it became the favorite of me and my team, and my friends, even my family! I produced and wrote it myself, it’s emotional but also has an energy… a surprise that makes it unique in my heart.
All the songs I write come from my feelings, they are full of honesty and authenticity. Music is a way of expression and I just try to express myself and what I think and feel in the purest way possible.
The music video has been directed by ERT's Director, Giannis Georgioudakis while Kostas Kalimeris, Steve Sovolos and Vaggelis Gialamas have contributed in the production of the Greek entry.
Konstantinos Rigos has been assigned with the staging of the song and is familiar to the Eurovision audience as he had directed in the past Loukas Yiorkas (Greece 2011) and Eleftheria Eleftheriou (Greece 2012).
