Georgia: The Voice Georgia first live show results

The Voice Georgia 2023, the show that will be selecting the nation's Eurovision hopeful for Liverpool, progressed last evening to the live shows stage.
With the battles' round completed the Voice Georgia moved on with the live shows stage, in the first heat of which the acts of two teams, Stephane and Sopho’s team, took the stage in order to deliver their songs live in order to impressed the public whose votes determined the qualifiers to the next round.
Namely the acts that took to the stage last evening along with their results are:
Team Stephane Mgebrishvili
- Likuna Tutisani – 34.80% of vote – Qualified
- Anka Tatarashvili – 21.51% of vote – Qualified
- Saba Chachua – 18.03% of vote – Qualified
- Dato Rusadze – 17.28% of vote – Wildcard Qualifier
- Mariam Kokeladze – 9.90% of vote – Eliminated
- Nini Asiliani – 9.46% of vote – Eliminated
Team Sopho Toroshelidze
- Tina Datikashvili – 34.8% of vote – Qualified
- Mariam Toronjadze – 20.06% of vote – Qualified
- Salome Tsintsadze – 17.93% of vote – Qualified
- Lika Siradze – 14.53% of vote – Wildcard Qualifier
- Sopho Batilashvili – 8.19% of vote – Eliminated
- Ana Vashakmadze – 4.49% of vote – Eliminated

Georgia in Eurovision
Georgia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest first time in 2007 with Sopho Khalvashi and her song Visionary dream . Since then it has competed 11 times missing out only the 2009 edition of the contest, when they chose to withdraw. Its best results were scored in Oslo with Sofia Nizharadze and her song Shine (2010) and Dusseldorf with Eldrine and the entry One More Day (2011) when both achieved a 9th placing in the Grand Final.
In 2020, won the Georgian Idol and was set to represent Georgia at the 65th Eurovision Song Contestin Rotterdam with his song “Take me as i am. Unfortunately, the contest was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak depriving Kipiani of the chance to perform on Rotterdam Ahoy’s stage. In 2021 Tornike was selected internally for Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam where he competed in the second semi final with the ballad song "You" , which sadly didn't qualify to the final.
This years Circus Mircus were internally selected to represent the nation in Turin where they came last in the 2nd semi final with their song ‘Lock me in' failing to reach the Grand final.
