Eurovision 2023: Live from Liverpool the Turquoise Carpet

Good afternoon Europe and Australia!.....This is Liverpool calling!! Eurovision 2023 week is about to officially kick off with the Turquoise Carpet set to take place at 16:00 CEST at the Walker Art Gallery just next to the iconic St. George’s Hall in Liverpool.
The carpet has been unrolled, the lights are set and here come the Eurovision stars of 2023, as the Eurovision shows weeks is about to start with the Opening Ceremony and the Turquoise Carpet ready to mark the primary week of the 67th Eurovision Song Contest here in Liverpool.
This year's Opening Ceremony wil take place at the Walker Art Gallery next to the iconic St. George’s Hall.
The Location
St George's Hall is a building on St George's Place, opposite Lime Street railway station in the centre of Liverpool, England. Opened in 1854, it is a Neoclassical building which contains concert halls and law courts, and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.On the east side of the hall, between it and the railway station, is St George's Plateau and on the west side are St John's Gardens. The hall is included in the William Brown Street conservation area
What to see during the Turquoise Carpet
The delegations that have travelled to Liverpool will have their moment to shine in their elegant formal outfits, as they take the walk along the carpet.
During the Turquoise event, the competing acts fo the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be able to meet and greet the present press media outlets. Also the attendng artists will be interviewed live by Timur Miroshnychenko (Ukrainian Eurovision commentator/ Eurovision 2017 host) and Sam Quek .
In addtion, at the opening ceremony, the Mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson, and officials from the hosting broadcaster, BBC and the Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC, the City of Liverpool and the UK will officially welcome the delegations and the competing acts marking the beginning of the Eurovision 2023 week.

In addtion, at the opening ceremony, the Mayor of Turin, and officials from the hosting broadcaster, RAI, the City of Turin and Italy will officially welcome the delegations and the competing acts marking the beginning of the Eurovision 2022 week.
