Eurovision 2023 hosting: Manchester will bid to host the 67th edition of the contest

Manchester is added on the list of cities that will be bidding to host the next Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 in the United Kingdom.
Manchester city is officially entering the race to host Eurovision 2023. Member of the City's council Bev Craig clears out that the city will be submitting its bid to host the next competition.
Precisely, the city councillor stated through twitter:
Manchester will be bidding to host @Eurovision @bbceurovision
A world class music city, brilliant venues, experience in hosting major events, and of course one of the UK’s largest Ukrainian populations- we are confident we will make it a #eurovision to remember.

Manchester is a city in Greater Manchester, England, with a population of more than two million in 2018, it is the second largest city by urban area in the United Kingdom.
Potential venues: Its main pop music venue is Manchester Arena or recently refferred to as AO Arena, voted "International Venue of the Year" in 2007.With over 21,000 seats, it is the second largest arena of its type in Europe.In terms of concertgoers, it is the busiest indoor arena in the world, ahead of Madison Square Garden in New York and The O2 Arena in London, which are second and third busiest.
Co-op Live Arena, is an indoor arena currently under construction in Manchester, England. Due to open in 2023, it is proposed to have the largest maximum capacity (as seats plus standing spaces) of any indoor arena in the United Kingdom; greater than the existing Manchester Arena which is under 2 miles away.Developers are planning to include up to 32 bars, a number of restaurants and clubs as part of the complex. The arena envisages hosting live music, sports, comedy acts, and family entertainment events, with an all seated maximum capacity of 20,500 (for a centre-stage concert, extending the retractable seating in the lower tier); but with an enhanced maximum capacity of 23,500, of whom 7,500 would be standing, when lower tier seating is retracted
Transportation: The city has one of the most extensive bus networks outside London, with over 50 bus companies operating in the Greater Manchester region radiating from the city. In 2011, 80 per cent of public transport journeys in Greater Manchester were made by bus.
Manchester Airport serves Manchester, Northern England and North Wales. The airport is the third busiest in the United Kingdom, with over double the number of annual passengers of the next busiest non-London airport.
Accommodation: The city has a big number of hotels and places to house the thousand of visitors coming to the city throught the year. The night-time economy of Manchester has expanded significantly since about 1993, with investment from breweries in bars, public houses and clubs, along with active support from the local authorities.The more than 500 licensed premises in the city centre have a capacity to deal with more than 250,000 visitors,with 110,000–130,000 people visiting on a typical weekend night,making Manchester the most popular city for events at 79 per thousand people.
