Eurovision 2023: Head of Delegations Meeting takes place in Liverpool

The meeting of the Heads of of Delegation of the countries participating in Eurovision 2023 is taking place today in Liverpool with the participation of most of the 37 missions.

Today is also the official deadline where the countries participating in the 67th edition of Eurovision Song Contest have to submit their representatives and their songs.

All delegates will be informed by the BBC and UA:PBC on preparations for the May competition.

Each of the broadcasters is invited to submit the final version of their song and their plans for the presentation of the participations on stage. Any changes to the songs after this date must be approved by the Eurovision Song Contest Reference group.

Durind the meeting, the leaders of each mission will be informed about how the rehearsals are going to be conducted as also the new system for the press conferences. More specifically the organizers want this year, the first technical rehearsals of the countries to take place behind closed doors so that the production team can do their job without any difficulties. The Press center will normally open its doors for accredited journalists on May 8.
