Ireland: Brooke Scullion to fly the flag in Turin with the song "That's Rich"

Ireland has selected Brooke Scullion to represent the nation at Eurovision 2022 in Turin with her song "That's Rich".
Brooke Scullion won the Irish national final held during a special edition of the 'Late Late Show' which was hosted by Ryan Tubridy, while Marty Whelan was at the backstages giving feedback from the competing acts.
For the forthcoming Eurovision RTE opted for a televised national final in order to select the Irish ESC 2022 hopeful, marking the country's return to a national selection since 2015. From 320 submitted songs a special panel of experts shorlisted six acts that will compete for the right to represent Ireland.
The national final will be held through the special edtion of the 'Late Late Show Eurovision Special' which saw six acts compete for the right to represent the country at Eurovision 2022.

The results of the national final will be determined by public voting, a national jury and for the first time in history of Irish selections, an international jury.

A few words for Brooke
Brooke Scullion is a singer from Co Derry, in Northern Ireland, born in 1999. She attended studies at Ulster University Magee campus. Scullion has sung as live support for singers like Nathan Carter. She has also had a starring role in the School of Rock musical at Cookstown’s Burnavon Theatre.
Rising to fame as a finalist of The Voice UK 2020, Brooke wowed the judges and viewers with her performances on the show, duetting with Ella Eyre and mentored by Grammy award-winning coach and singer Meghan Trainor.
Her entry for the Irish selection 'That's Rich', has been composed by herself along with Karl Zine and Izzy Warner.
