Czechia: ADONXS chosen for Eurovision 2025

The Czech national broadcaster, CT, have revealed ANDONXS as the nation's Eurovision 2025 hopeful in Basel, Switzerland.
Czechia has confirmed the 29 year-old singer, composer, model and dancer, ANDONXS as the artist to fly to Basel in Switzerland next May.
Singer Adam Pavlovčin, known under the stage name ADONXS, has become the new face in the ESC 2025 class. The 29-year-old artist is the third confirmed participant for Eurovision 2025 in Basel.
From SuperStar to Eurovision
ADONXS first gained public attention when it won the SuperStar Czecho-Slovakia competition in 2021. Since then, he has released multiple singles and his debut album, Age of ADONXS, in 2022.
The era of ADONXS continues in 2025, when this singer enters a new chapter of his career – representing the Czech Republic on the world's largest music scene. The artist himself said on his participation:
"First of all, I am extremely happy. Participating in Eurovision has always been a big dream of mine. At the same time, I feel a great responsibility to represent a country that has a great recent history in this competition and that is now my home.
ADONXS grew up listening to the music of legends such as Queen, Depeche Mode, Elton John and Prince. Among his current influences are Troye Sivan, Mahmood, AURORA, Josef Salvat, Sufjan Stevens, RAYE and Conan Gray.In 2022, he received the "Singer of the Year" and "Music Discovery" awards from the Czech radio Evropa 2.
Czech Republic in Eurovision
Czech Republic appeared for the first time in the Contest in 2007 with Kabat. A a row of disappointing results the country withdrew in 2010 and didn’t return until 2016. In 2016 its return was followed by a grand final qualification for the first time . The best result came for the country in 2018 with Mikolas Josef who achieved a top 10 placing by finishing 6th , in Lisbon with his entry Lie to me.
In 2022 'We are Domi' won the national selection and went off to Turin representing the country with their song 'Lights off'. They came 4th in Semi-Final Two winning the ticket to the Grand final where they finished in 22nd place receiving 38 points. In 2023 Vesna finished 10th in the final of Eurovision 2023 with their song “My Sister’s Crown”
Last year AIKO and her entry ‘Pedestal’ represented the nation.
